Early Career
High School and College
JJ Redick was a standout basketball player at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia. He earned McDonald's All-American honors in 2002 and played collegiately at Duke University, where he helped the Blue Devils win the 2004 NCAA Championship.
NBA Career
Dallas Mavericks
Redick was drafted by the Orlando Magic in the first round of the 2006 NBA Draft (11th overall). He played for the Magic for six seasons before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013. After two seasons with the Bucks, he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2015 and spent the final four seasons of his career in Los Angeles.

Legacy
JJ Redick is remembered as one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history. He retired in 2019 as the NBA's all-time leader in three-point field goal percentage (41.5%). Redick is also known for his contributions to the NBA's Three-Point Contest, winning the competition in 2015 and participating several other times.
